Sophie Asselin

Sophie Asselin is a self-taught French Canadian painter based in Montreal. In order to explore a more intimate and personal visual language she began to work intensively in a minimalist abstract style. Attracted by experimentation, Sophie finds oil paint to perfectly suited to her creative spirit, allowing for new avenues of textural exploration. Her artworks are part of many private collections in Canada, the United States, Europe, Asia and also Australia.
