Fragmented Harmony

White Galleon, located at 281 St. Paul St., Unit #202 in downtown St. Catharines, is proud to announce its upcoming exhibition, Fragmented Harmony,
opening Saturday, June 7 and running through June 28, 2025.
Featuring new works by Julien Kandolo, Tanmay Parashar, and Liam Reynolds, Fragmented Harmony is a vibrant celebration of color, form, and emotional depth. The exhibition brings together three distinct artistic voices, each exploring the tension—and unexpected beauty—found in fragmentation, abstraction, and personal expression.
Julien Kandolo, a Montreal-based artist originally from Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, brings a powerful, introspective lens to questions of identity and freedom. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa and later at UQAM in Environmental Design, Kandolo's work reflects a decade of artistic research into the human condition.
Tanmay Parashar, based in Toronto, offers a dazzlingly meticulous approach to color and rhythm. Using the edge of a credit card, Parashar creates thousands of individual dabs in each piece—sometimes up to 30,000—resulting in highly detailed compositions that pulse with energy and precision.
Liam Reynolds, an Ontario-based artist, works through meditative, subconscious sessions to create immersive visual spaces. His paintings tap into themes of universal connection, spirituality, and emotional resonance, inviting viewers to engage in quiet reflection.
Together, their works form a compelling narrative about how disjointed elements—shapes, hues, techniques—can come together in a unified visual language. Fragmented Harmony invites audiences to consider how contrast and complexity can lead to moments of clarity, cohesion, and shared understanding.
